Shipment of fish

We offer a postal courier service to any part of the country so distance is not an issue and our fish are packed and transported under the best conditions. Fish are securely packed, oxygenated and insulated for transportation and an information sheet is included on 'What to do with your Piranha' on arrival.  Packages will require a signature and if you have any queries about  your fish upon receipt please inform us immediately.

Europe and the Rest of the World

Lengthy transportation times can cause stress to fish so shipment to Europe and other parts of the world is by negotiation, please use our email contact and we will be happy to advise you with further information.

DOA Policy

Amazon Basin have many satisfied customers testifying to the quality and health of the fish, which are quarantined and carefully examined before despatch to the customer. If in the case of any fish arriving 'dead on arrival' (DOA) then we require evidence of this consisting of photographic evidence of dead fish in bag, which must be received within 12 hours from time of arrival. Amazon Basin offer no guarantee of live arrival. Only on presenting the aforementioned evidence within 12 hours can we assist with any recompense..
